Leave Me Alone and Mailbird partnership combines protection with productivity

Mailbird has partnered with Leave Me Alone, a premier email unsubscribe and inbox protection service, to offer Mailbirdians access to new ways of managing their inbox and safeguarding their privacy.
Leave Me Alone is a web-based service that simplifies the unsubscribing of newsletters and emails. But it goes beyond unsubscribing. It also provides users with related tools that automatically block out unwanted messages.
When a chance to team up with Leave Me Alone came around, Mailbird seized the opportunity.
With more than four million users worldwide, Mailbird constantly and consistently seeks new ways to ease inbox management and add software value for their customers. The new partnership with Leave Me Alone is another piece in their strategy.
Forming a strong and complementary alliance
“Email is much more than simply sending and receiving messages,” says Alexis Dollé, Head of Growth at Mailbird. “We understand that some of our customers wrestle with extremely high volumes of email every day, leading to overcrowded inboxes and endless distractions.”
Rather than investing months developing a similar tool from scratch, Mailbird chose to partner with an established and trusted company that already offers a ready-to-use tool. Once purchased, Leave Me Alone tools can be activated by simply selecting a checkbox within the Mailbird app—forgoing any complicated software installation.
“For us, inbox management is a top priority,” says Dollé. "We believe the value Leave Me Alone adds to Mailbird will greatly increase customers’ ability to focus and manage their inbox traffic.”
Leave Me Alone also saw the potential of teaming up with a widely popular email client app.
“We immediately recognised that Mailbird users would be an excellent match for our suite of features, particularly those who are active email users,” says James Ivings, CEO of Leave Me Alone. “By integrating Leave Me Alone with Mailbird’s existing functionality, we can start providing real value to its large user base right away.”
Key features and benefits
“Mailbird users who adopt Leave Me Alone gain access to features that Mailbird doesn’t currently provide,” says Ivings. “This empowers them to fend off a relentless deluge of newsletters, spam, cold emails, and other unwanted messages.”
Leave Me Alone centralizes these tools in an easy-to-manage dashboard and supports most email providers, such as Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, and Yahoo.
Unsubscribe
Unsubscribing from a single newsletter is simple. But if you’re dealing with dozens of newsletters, manually unsubscribing from all of them, one by one, can become a tedious exercise in patience.
Leave Me Alone, however, displays all your newsletters in a single list, allowing you to select the ones you no longer want to receive. You can then unsubscribe from multiple newsletters with a single click.

Inbox Shield
Leave Me Alone’s Inbox Shield protects your inbox by blocking unwanted emails—cold emails sent by mass-mailer tools; social media alerts; and known spam, phishing, and malware email addresses—so that only trusted senders can reach you. It can even protect inboxes during holidays and special events, when higher-than-normal email-based advertisements and promos are expected.

Rollups
An essential newsletter management tool, Rollups help you stay organized and less distracted by combining multiple newsletters into a single daily or weekly digest. This minimizes newsletter traffic and reduces inbox clutter. You can even categorize your emails into as many as 10 rollups.

Shielded Emails
The ability to mask your true email address is a key component of Leave Me Alone’s dedication to online privacy. By using temporary “burner” email accounts, you can sign up for newsletters and online services without revealing your personal or work email address.
“If a website is compromised or an alias is overflowing with spam, users can simply disable the affected alias and create a new one without breaking a sweat,” says Ivings.

Small investment for greater inbox freedom
The Leave Me Alone and Mailbird offer is available exclusively to Mailbird users and comes in two options.
Lifetime Unsubscribe (priced at US$39 for Mailbird users) is a pay-once plan that gives users the lifetime ability to batch unsubscribe to an unlimited number of emails for up to two email accounts.
Lifetime Unsubscribe PLUS (priced at US$59 for Mailbird users) provides the same lifetime unsubscribe features, with the added bonus of one-year access to Leave Me Alone’s Inbox Zero Hero tools: unlimited email accounts, Inbox Shield, Rollups, and Shielded Emails.
To avoid surprise charges often associated with auto-renewals, Leave Me Alone and Mailbird will require explicit consent to continue using Inbox Zero Hero features after the one-year access expires. However, regardless of whether or not customers renew the advanced features, they will always have lifetime access to the core unsubscribe function.
Paving an exciting path ahead
Dollé stressed how Mailbird customers repeatedly inform him that one of their biggest frustrations is managing unwanted emails. The partnership with Leave Me Alone is an effective way to clean up inboxes at a highly competitive rate.
“Our users are constantly looking for ways to streamline their email experience,” says Dollé. “We’re excited to offer these high-value features to all our Mailbirdians for the first time. This exclusive, lifetime deal will go a very long way towards ensuring email efficiency and user sanity.”
